听说现在的study permit 也可以找工作了，是真的吗？
如果没工卡能不能去hotel做housekeeper？

of course not.  only if u have SP AND WORK PERMIT.
when i applied for study permit last yr, it came along with the on-campus work permit. but that's still limited cuz i can only work at sch.

u should be able to apply for off-campus work permit after 6 months of undergrad at uvic though.
hope it make sense=D
