Lord,
! W9 a- _0 I2 G- `9 j7 Ehaving transformed$ x7 X7 N+ H# @5 i# h
sunshine and soil and water and seed,- v5 R! }5 q( g x
into food upon which we are soon to feed,
5 m' \$ g, d7 b/ Z* Jwe thank you for life and we want to stay well,
5 Q& |. n+ N+ e1 t! l4 o( L7 bso we promise to rub our hands with Purell.8 h* {! E# b6 N/ e' D9 E" J
We who came first and are ready to dine7 ?* A+ j; b1 v6 p
thank you that we’re not still waiting in line,
7 H9 \* \: r7 J4 D3 cbut for those who are hungry and eagerly wait, . y: d+ k" \# A" t
we shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.

We smell the potatoes all spicy and roasted
