so, 如果有车的话，一个月大约是1700-2400

以上是最基本的，如果加上每年回家的机票、旅游、买家具、家电、party，每月还会多一些

一般靠近学校的都很贵，找一些在bus route上的、离学校稍远一些会便宜一些。

你的工资其实很不错了,只是你一个人的工资要养活2个人,稍微有点负担。而且你刚来就有很不错的工资，恭禧恭禧！

Eligibility

Your spouse or common-law partner may apply for a work permit if:

CAD32000/年在维多利亚生活比较艰难，只能维持基本生活需要，大概相当于国内一线城市3000-4000/月的工资水准吧。我身边的博士后都45000-50000。不过你爱人可以在你递交Work Permit申请时，同时递交工作申请（不需任何其它材料和理由，只需填一张和你完全一样的表格，不要等到在加申请！），两人都工作的话，还可以。如果你是PNP的话，可以较快申请绿卡， 暂时苦一点，那也值。

我是楼主，谢谢大家的回复和解答。大家真的很热心啊。不知道板上有没有在维多利亚的博后啊，我想问问办理携签的经验。在网上搜索了些资料，年份不同，里面提到的携签的申请材料也有些出入。 我是工作签证，我爱人是不是要办理“临时居民访问签证”呢？是否是按照因私访问的临时居民签证清单来准备材料呢？
