. }  h. }  Q9 @1 gI was walking along the beach with my Lord.0 T7 Q6 O, N+ w" N9 _3 e( N
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
9 ^, g! O9 c5 x! lFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
* L* X6 W8 C9 L6 ]one belonging to me; |8 b; l" T( e9 ~& D4 c
and the other to my Lord.4 N" M& n8 ]* W0 ]  \
When the last scene of my life shot before me
8 P: R  B8 c$ ~4 yI looked back at the footprints in the sand.0 X5 M/ @1 P! i
There was only on set of footprints.
$ y2 ~- x& }- J9 Z* d) Q5 UI realized that this was at the lowest 0 r0 I* S# B7 }% ^( x# @& z
and saddest times in my life.9 W0 ?( T: D0 c/ V* O8 h7 c
This always bothered me
5 T) ~4 n7 g4 i- u) Kand I questioned the Lord
+ S" l6 W* T: G! m  Uabout my dilemma.+ z& U: ?7 r+ K' j3 _
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
& e2 e- U0 z9 H& C2 i) N1 I* ~You would walk and talk with me all the way.
& M7 d+ a3 n6 ^( }# s* ^But I'm aware that during the most troublesome 5 L6 n4 e) c, K2 z& }7 {% i/ m# v
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
: a7 u1 u( F* H1 M7 P5 UI don't understand why, when I needed You most, / t) F; a. z6 S
