% g/ a8 q  K, p) EOne night I had a dream
# ?9 }9 `. b$ }5 t3 S, _I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
0 Y' Y* y7 s# p3 G# R4 q, Y% tAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.6 U$ I3 q: D/ z- O, w4 R
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,- [( W, b% J% C6 \4 c& y
one belonging to me! Y2 ?/ t; T3 a7 b8 f
and the other to my Lord.* G' P/ e9 n9 r6 C: _
When the last scene of my life shot before me4 I" A5 M2 A4 V0 I4 K
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.& S2 e# W# _2 r( ~
There was only on set of footprints.- ?0 H+ O. B6 o% b
I realized that this was at the lowest 9 J4 g4 b1 p" V+ C# q% D# i
and saddest times in my life.$ V- B& N& t' D1 z
This always bothered me
4 p6 G8 w) O& M& T2 N& g1 [9 _and I questioned the Lord9 s# O' e% x% O0 |* v
about my dilemma.
8 K/ A% ?' f* B; A( r# Y! N"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
0 X4 |8 f& C4 T0 O2 d, PYou would walk and talk with me all the way.9 z0 a. m5 ^/ O6 o- y3 @
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
- g! l' o0 r; O) b+ p" o) k# gtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.& _* w# R$ x* D) r' S: G
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, + [( s! y+ k- n
you leave me."

When you saw only one set of footprints
