7 o: D6 |2 C  v( c+ D& ]  @One night I had a dream; ~$ d$ ^5 a2 G" q
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.' i5 P  B- A3 ]7 E% R3 i% O
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
9 K; g0 k, {) p1 gFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
& F  a) x8 v- ]" Y* bone belonging to me5 m, G  ~( Y+ z! T' w$ C1 R
and the other to my Lord.
' Z0 m5 h0 M; fWhen the last scene of my life shot before me) J- Z+ P0 _  _; D: G
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
9 I; W) E$ u( e6 q5 u3 b* y. t  T% MThere was only on set of footprints./ m) g( d! }& N
I realized that this was at the lowest
( L$ \9 e0 }7 Eand saddest times in my life.4 J9 A* H5 k7 ~% v
This always bothered me
' c9 ]& s. K$ Iand I questioned the Lord4 _5 B* i9 G' @. W1 H
about my dilemma.1 A- C- ^: U3 J: k. r
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,3 V4 n. C7 b, f" @
You would walk and talk with me all the way.3 ^; e. t) m5 {) _! B7 d
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
) ?9 f3 J& O  F  ^times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
4 S# v- I( N: R( MI don't understand why, when I needed You most, # Z3 W9 x9 \0 r1 K( U4 V+ k. G' G. X
you leave me."
