' O) x3 B! h3 t  lOne night I had a dream
- r- B7 U- h9 L8 B2 cI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
. `" E4 w6 T2 w* C" ~& ]" l9 k2 n1 ZAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
; u8 O1 A9 q. f) ~For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
4 Q7 b6 R! S$ j6 Sone belonging to me; @$ Z% [7 C; s* B; {9 m
and the other to my Lord.6 P9 c2 \# |% s* g4 F  [
When the last scene of my life shot before me
: ^" u3 j: k6 F' c- m; |. z& K, `I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
- a3 R( x  @! j, BThere was only on set of footprints.4 G  J2 o2 o1 j. e
I realized that this was at the lowest 0 }0 m1 U# q; T% [* y
and saddest times in my life.
- }. s4 x% ^( F# b# hThis always bothered me
! z& l, X$ Y) Q6 U2 e& V$ Tand I questioned the Lord
4 ?7 C' T% z* _! c9 G' _  fabout my dilemma.( b  N/ G7 a& ^" m7 y# }+ k
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,  ]' L" M- h" R1 {/ n
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
! h  m9 ~, C3 B2 [9 C# wBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome
" R6 H) R5 @* h* Ktimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.4 t6 n1 }; ^) ?4 D+ p
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
6 b5 K$ `! Q6 ^/ s: L# `- n" s, byou leave me.": V# W* u/ m0 {1 T* S* |9 [
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,3 F( c1 B' h5 x5 R- H* b

When you saw only one set of footprints
