One night I had a dream* m8 G! u  X7 ^5 I$ g7 S7 N
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.4 ~8 i( r/ u6 p# |* A
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
! t1 \: d/ l& X1 {) [% YFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,8 K3 x; [- z& K- D
one belonging to me
8 ]0 s2 x  Z2 z. [' rand the other to my Lord.) s+ ^' m& \$ _# [" U
When the last scene of my life shot before me
- ]* Z& M! J- r- s& Z4 [* vI looked back at the footprints in the sand.; p" h3 E" _! p$ @* [/ }  d0 c
There was only on set of footprints.8 v! H) h" k1 O$ @5 q, D$ S$ U
I realized that this was at the lowest 0 P6 g1 F4 R/ r4 n) W
and saddest times in my life., i4 n$ S4 e. l( E2 a
This always bothered me
7 u2 F/ v, M1 o) t( nand I questioned the Lord! C0 j% L, C! }- Y( j
about my dilemma.) s7 t# @: z. T0 u5 b/ n# f( J9 ?, u
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
) C" x. S, P- aYou would walk and talk with me all the way.
/ \8 Q( N- e. p, N( j: s# `/ t1 TBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome 1 ?: c$ r6 k* V! W. Q, _/ F/ c
times of my life there is only one set of footprints./ \0 _3 f) K7 T1 [$ h- A! {+ x
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
