having transformed
; O$ m7 D, G! F6 bsunshine and soil and water and seed,
1 L- n8 X- L9 e' I) linto food upon which we are soon to feed,
" T. u. P5 M- ~3 }8 Xwe thank you for life and we want to stay well, ( u0 i7 e3 [; A
so we promise to rub our hands with Purell.9 |6 K2 y% I: G/ K
We who came first and are ready to dine" u. I0 N7 I/ g0 ?) [+ O ~' F
thank you that we’re not still waiting in line,
6 Y8 B- ^& U4 f q2 wbut for those who are hungry and eagerly wait,
4 J/ @8 \) y. H2 h/ t! n7 u* |we shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.

We smell the potatoes all spicy and roasted
) _) v0 w9 i1 y# Lthe aroma of casseroles perfectly toasted % q8 E* u6 C7 \, z# U( s% `
