Lord, 4 ]9 ^0 {0 @. H- w( l C1 e
having transformed
4 b+ ~% q: d$ N/ { tsunshine and soil and water and seed,5 e8 U' {: p" \% ~
into food upon which we are soon to feed, * h0 U' D- d% @& l
we thank you for life and we want to stay well, * r6 C) k8 _# V( v6 k' E0 H
so we promise to rub our hands with Purell.
" t" `- G2 {( }6 P& PWe who came first and are ready to dine
& j3 v/ i: b7 Hthank you that we’re not still waiting in line, c" j& K8 }" P7 S
but for those who are hungry and eagerly wait, 4 U1 r/ ]0 R9 B
we shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.& B1 C9 T2 k8 J8 o- F$ M3 w
Instead we’ll be thoughtful of all the others _- H$ h& I& K# }9 J
the way we were taught by our own loving mothers./ S$ B" a" Z! s7 s* J
