Lord,
1 v0 Q( e) k9 z+ j! rhaving transformed) c9 u5 V! p: }1 O1 E; j1 }
sunshine and soil and water and seed,
; i7 L8 e/ W _; G0 ^into food upon which we are soon to feed,
. U4 Z& y3 f$ W9 ~' L7 X' Pwe thank you for life and we want to stay well,
: p( K- {/ J1 ~! zso we promise to rub our hands with Purell.
" i& Z3 {8 O7 @' B/ e# D: s" tWe who came first and are ready to dine
9 K, f4 o8 h% J1 s* ethank you that we’re not still waiting in line,
5 n* r& D/ q, b$ \5 M* {1 ]but for those who are hungry and eagerly wait,
5 k% x X" W5 l6 h2 }we shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.' j# `0 X: V) h7 ]
Instead we’ll be thoughtful of all the others 9 B4 k1 V* g# w1 h; a- ~! S @) x
the way we were taught by our own loving mothers.8 z2 V% k1 e* D! a) S- V

the aroma of casseroles perfectly toasted 7 o6 d) l* u8 a7 e7 a
