One night I had a dream
: ?4 z# V3 c: O" r7 R0 ?4 TI was walking along the beach with my Lord.8 ~$ Q; R# F- ]/ G# F! z
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
" {6 X  d* G3 U- MFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
# E, y9 ?' q$ m. L! none belonging to me6 l- @" {5 R0 y  q& O
and the other to my Lord.- z$ ~+ }+ s1 P9 t1 N2 n" [9 z
When the last scene of my life shot before me9 S7 L; q! \$ P: a! {+ I
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
3 H9 U) Z/ b) G2 HThere was only on set of footprints.
% N) j9 p! n- P3 J3 X0 PI realized that this was at the lowest 0 y5 Z7 q% R* n1 Z1 K2 Y- j1 `+ J
and saddest times in my life.
, n! H6 D, D) jThis always bothered me
3 Q/ L* w5 V. Wand I questioned the Lord5 K9 p* ?9 H9 W4 m9 E. j' S$ @
about my dilemma.
; b: D4 |, G3 Y. x" a"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
( s/ {+ H. J2 j1 F3 n3 kYou would walk and talk with me all the way.
  o7 X2 y, T. P: f0 hBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome
$ I; u5 H" Q) u& e9 t6 D7 etimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.' N. E7 t" a$ e' o! E9 d
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
