! d: T" S# M2 I9 NI was walking along the beach with my Lord.* a/ P. Z2 c# [" x, Q. n8 P
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.% h$ ]" J" P# k
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
! P) S; M4 Z2 o$ none belonging to me7 `0 q( u8 C. N4 H
and the other to my Lord.) G9 k/ J  n' Q% J+ v. R
When the last scene of my life shot before me6 A6 f. H" h1 F) G& n  t
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.- e/ N# |' s2 @  Z9 o7 U! t
There was only on set of footprints.
/ {1 E, c9 s. s1 d2 T8 fI realized that this was at the lowest 4 E+ g- i) P2 g, ^
and saddest times in my life.
. |4 i+ s3 F. n' xThis always bothered me ) [7 J+ U+ K" ]+ I, R$ k& E
and I questioned the Lord* W/ d* h& y" P) t
about my dilemma.- o. \' @" V+ n) `( S
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,7 X& ]6 h3 n0 X& B7 o1 A
You would walk and talk with me all the way.8 W0 r# h( r3 S
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome 1 Y+ ?" Y2 e8 E
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.# W1 n5 e6 b6 N* s
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, ' v+ g/ n, N$ i% Y- \
you leave me."* P8 O. z5 C' H
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,

When you saw only one set of footprints
