Footprints in the Sand, ?. G% F, y  ~5 ?, P" m+ K

- S" D3 k& O3 ^2 L- e& SOne night I had a dream6 a7 @0 t* ^% ~7 E
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
8 m2 {$ M" h' e  z- q/ SAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
) e3 A7 H; P8 x' }0 NFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
5 E) x) C4 x: ]7 p9 lone belonging to me9 j1 j5 c) W. X  P9 f# U
and the other to my Lord.
0 o. j- d( P, W; J- |% rWhen the last scene of my life shot before me) R1 n2 t. h; |" P5 H4 c: X( t
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.; a+ W, {5 a% s+ \% G
There was only on set of footprints.7 H6 X1 r/ Z" Y
I realized that this was at the lowest * Q8 m. H5 F( v8 _; _: q
and saddest times in my life.
. l% u7 l) I2 i( i$ q* pThis always bothered me
$ V) k4 Z; {7 c! k3 o7 w1 hand I questioned the Lord' E2 Y! N1 a% T
about my dilemma.& W: p2 G- ^7 e+ {4 _( o$ y
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
+ @$ d! U! m3 R. `, hYou would walk and talk with me all the way.
! z, F0 V& K/ }  A3 ]$ {But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
4 ]! V3 i9 x) c/ ]times of my life there is only one set of footprints.! C8 G& L. U+ D
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, 4 s2 @2 V" y) N  {: h( e
you leave me."2 ?$ t8 X  `4 h) x! k
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
