% O- R/ p, i8 kOne night I had a dream
6 U* `' K' b/ t. l( G5 ?7 }& c1 n+ jI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
, Y0 f/ |) z8 `6 [, }" }" DAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
, Z) M0 b2 ^6 tFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,+ z6 X0 S! K% K' a5 Y4 m/ V
one belonging to me
) W5 h( ^0 K% @; S. O. ]/ a, Eand the other to my Lord.. `& J2 S8 v; L" _! ~9 U, R
When the last scene of my life shot before me; [* r. @4 \& B! v+ l: g% x
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
8 r3 h4 f, m: b% x' O- [! N# ?There was only on set of footprints.4 j, h$ m$ n' |$ [9 |# u$ ~$ R
I realized that this was at the lowest : f+ D2 P% u* B  x
and saddest times in my life.
! |6 Q1 I6 [* qThis always bothered me " ~0 q7 S' v+ }& o; X# Y
and I questioned the Lord
$ x5 u! t! J  }about my dilemma.
* l9 [2 C  x- D* W. Z) f6 F"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
, H2 {; R/ `! g* b* t; s! \You would walk and talk with me all the way.
& j4 a- b+ s4 `But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
0 G9 e  `, m9 ]6 Z, mtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
( a- O& Z* f# b) L, UI don't understand why, when I needed You most,
7 L. j1 z; }" \6 yyou leave me."
% B9 c; r$ v  T: FHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,( w$ e- l" c+ i8 X
I love you and will never leave you& \, g6 M$ i% [6 a" ?
