  Y3 i) w$ U. n5 X" cOne night I had a dream+ p2 I2 S1 V; q# s! v1 U
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
# b* Z0 s- n' tAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.4 n' \% X8 U0 \6 y# D! }
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,6 X. C" A% e% d& c! N, r# y  v" q
one belonging to me( y) x$ m4 N! A5 y- T. J) ]$ B
and the other to my Lord.
' Q0 W) `" l8 i, JWhen the last scene of my life shot before me
) j# s3 f1 u0 _" a6 K) `I looked back at the footprints in the sand.4 A- u  w4 {: o1 ]
There was only on set of footprints.7 T( z4 A( G: V
I realized that this was at the lowest
  n* M: b5 |, W- k$ N8 E2 {: T# Qand saddest times in my life.7 `; J" N5 Y9 I
This always bothered me   a, l7 Z% m3 j" r/ G; {
and I questioned the Lord* u% V8 d6 j  ?0 A
about my dilemma./ b+ F# T. l, _
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,# X' w* ~' h5 o  G3 |; Q
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
  E  y% b7 R- J- ?2 D' rBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome - h5 O: [5 u6 k5 v6 {* e
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
# @# n6 t1 [- e) \/ EI don't understand why, when I needed You most, / G1 [# N- m# f6 t
you leave me."
4 U! r* I2 R& C% A8 Y* _He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
0 J; Q4 O1 B5 C% j2 m8 pI love you and will never leave you- W8 w2 w4 _2 a8 t" Y

When you saw only one set of footprints
