2 p0 j5 L+ G+ yOne night I had a dream( T' V( L% Y4 t- s0 \" [
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
5 m+ `3 _+ C) r1 m' gAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.7 }# L" I( ~1 `0 @) r6 r* ?
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand," s) v2 H. D7 o+ u& @
one belonging to me5 y! N. s: k' P7 u  g
and the other to my Lord.
8 }, h& q+ _7 [9 J" C# m- U; yWhen the last scene of my life shot before me
6 ^: S$ q0 M8 k8 JI looked back at the footprints in the sand.
  Z% {0 @) X1 KThere was only on set of footprints.7 S; D( E; @5 ?; D& _. O5 P* W. g
I realized that this was at the lowest * E, k. R, o" n, X& _* c
and saddest times in my life.
+ _) k! I0 P6 Q  U1 ]This always bothered me 9 a% G; S& x$ [
and I questioned the Lord2 ]5 K% s# X. s6 K  U/ W7 e
about my dilemma.
  w/ N3 A7 |- B- u, w5 ["Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
1 ]# [& X* z& V! N" eYou would walk and talk with me all the way." k1 Z7 x3 N! x/ t$ H
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome 5 m0 f, L. F" Z% t8 C
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.) M7 I; F' W2 i$ J, o3 j/ ^; T
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, 8 r' \) p+ H/ }
you leave me."
