One night I had a dream$ @3 S9 P, s5 d" G: r
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
, x( f' H& K$ f6 Q- T# C7 xAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.5 ~" f  D0 Y5 ^) q
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
" x9 S; I3 _/ y- I9 u" @3 aone belonging to me
! W& b! L/ Y8 K; J8 d% y) dand the other to my Lord.
5 ?& P1 w8 ]8 CWhen the last scene of my life shot before me* ^( v; }, v# t5 Q6 K3 j
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.  q  F$ O; i7 U9 j: q* Z
There was only on set of footprints.
( _+ V5 b) X5 J4 e- ]9 x% @I realized that this was at the lowest 7 v9 O8 f% j  {& e5 q7 z: a% r4 h" s
and saddest times in my life.7 v8 b, d* r5 d) K
This always bothered me 2 p: u* R# }; ]* _; K) ~. `* S
and I questioned the Lord: H7 @; I0 s8 t' {
about my dilemma.
6 f2 d6 V0 n+ }$ |"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
& J3 _$ Q/ `  K/ ]" hYou would walk and talk with me all the way.- v. u0 k% f/ @6 @
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome & e* u/ @$ W* ?" A/ _
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
" C+ W/ Q4 \& @! u0 d  nI don't understand why, when I needed You most, ; I: u& p$ ~- q8 f0 P4 T4 m9 ^% V
you leave me."/ e9 C7 P3 o) I1 {5 g) ^
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
" |# z' V' D/ y* zI love you and will never leave you
# w" ]. e: C7 e7 ~9 \never, ever during your times of trial and testings.3 A3 _5 O: j: k
When you saw only one set of footprints7 T: F4 @, V: O$ ^
