One night I had a dream5 _& t, k0 j9 S6 A4 w
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.3 c1 n4 ]% x# S, r
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life./ l2 ?& j) U) ~' |' e. o
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
: F" S: C. {$ \$ U0 y4 ]& I( Mone belonging to me$ X( e# u1 R3 z; A# U5 A8 o  Q, r' b
and the other to my Lord.
2 d" Q- {/ R: iWhen the last scene of my life shot before me! _5 O; z$ O' H
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
" a: j7 c' N! p4 rThere was only on set of footprints.
+ N+ J# l; b6 W# r7 C3 uI realized that this was at the lowest + ]7 {' N. r3 \: I. m
and saddest times in my life.
/ f( J5 A6 C1 |2 J" GThis always bothered me
* G# I' Z& x! k% y/ b7 U; v( uand I questioned the Lord; R' z# V  A; J' O' h
about my dilemma.
" _  r, y% V- B8 {5 m"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
# E" J2 a/ y. y" AYou would walk and talk with me all the way.
& F  [; P' H" W. ?But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
8 i/ b- h# p6 X- M- X0 atimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.( u/ M4 J* b7 c; o1 x* v: P5 L- b
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, ! k! b- f# W8 n$ S' i% a5 ~% m$ M
you leave me."
